YMCA of Greater Seattle Sports and Teen Programs, Site Supervisor in Shoreline, Washington


Job Summary

Provides day-to-day supervision ofSports and Teen programming as assigned. Plans and implements safe, high quality and enriching programs through working directly with employees, youth and members. Helps implement sports programing which can include coaching, officiating, and running clinics. Helps implement Teen and Tween programing at our Hangtime middle school locations and Tween Center. As the site supervisor you will be the go to for staff and volunteers helping provide leadership and guidance for our sports and teen programs. Come join our youth enrichment team.

Seeking applicants with weekday evening and Saturday availability.


  1. Supervises activities at site(s) and surrounding areas to ensure safety and welfare of users.

  2. Reports and monitors all mechanical and equipment problems.

  3. Sets up equipment in rooms, and returns equipment to storage. Ensures cleanliness of facilities and equipment.

  4. Enforces all rules, regulations and policies. Maintains proper documentation. Reports incidents and accidents.

  5. Assists other staff. Answers inquiries from participants, and provides information.

  6. Attends staff meetings and approved trainings as required.


  1. 18 years of age or older

  2. Current state approved first aid certification

  1. One year or more of related experience preferred.

  2. Ability to move, set up and store equipment.

  3. Ability to tactfully enforce all rules and regulations.

  4. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.

  5. Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
